Short version: your learning stays on your device; we collect only anonymous, aggregate usage stats.
What stays on your device
All your progress - lessons completed, quiz scores, Project Euler status, mastery ratings, notes, bookmarks and flashcard scheduling - is stored only in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device unless you use Export. There are no accounts and no login.
Analytics
This public site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which pages are used, so the academy can be improved. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not sell data, run ads, or use analytics to identify you. Analytics runs only when you are online; the academy works fully offline without it.
To opt out, use your browser's tracking-protection settings, a content blocker, or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking analytics does not affect any academy feature.
Third-party content
Project Euler problem text is used under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 with attribution. Math rendering (KaTeX) and the Python runtime (Pyodide) are bundled locally and make no third-party requests.
